FOR PARENTS · EARLY PREVIEW

Your family’s privacy.

Updated September 5, 2026. This notice describes Wimblewild’s early preview. The business is being set up in North Carolina; no LLC is represented as formed. Legal operator and mailing details will be added when that setup is complete. Grown-ups can contact the support inbox below during this preview.

What the game saves on your device

Wimblewild saves practice topics, whether answers were correct, hint use, practice levels, answer dates, effort seeds, completed keepsakes, your chosen quest length, and story progress (current location, restored places, challenge state, and companion ability) in this browser. Recent answer history is limited to 300 entries. The game does not ask for a child’s name, email, birthday, school, photo, or location.

Practice data is used to choose question difficulty, show rewards, and explain recent practice to grown-ups. This version does not send the saved practice record to a Wimblewild learner account or database.

Your controls

Open the Grown-up guide to review or download progress. “Clear saved progress” resets this browser’s practice record after confirmation. You can also remove Wimblewild site data in your browser settings. There is one explorer per browser, so people sharing that browser can see the same progress.

Local progress stays until you clear it or your browser removes it. Downloaded backups are separate files that you control and delete separately. Restoring a backup reads that file on your device; it is not uploaded to HostGator.

Information needed to deliver the website

HostGator hosts Wimblewild and processes ordinary web connection information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times, to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from the local math record. Hosting-log retention is still being confirmed; contact the privacy inbox below with questions about hosting information.

Optional browser features

Read-aloud uses your browser or operating system’s speech service to speak the question text. It does not record audio or request microphone access. Your browser’s speech provider may process text according to its own settings and terms.

If you use a compatible browser assistant, it can request a small summary of practice totals and quest settings. This optional interface cannot change progress and does not provide the full answer history or child identity.

Features this version does not use

There are no child accounts, payments, advertising, behavioral analytics, open chat, social profiles, camera access, or location access. The game includes no third-party advertising or analytics scripts.

Questions and support

Grown-ups can email privacy@wimblewild.com for privacy questions or support@wimblewild.com for help with the game. Both addresses reach the same support inbox. Emailing support shares your email address and message with the support team and its email provider, HostGator. Please do not send a child’s name, photo, school, or other identifying information. This notice will be updated before any new account, communication, payment, or data-collection features are introduced.
